Back Together Again
School got out the first week of June. Larry left town for work. Carter left town for EFY. Next, I left for girls camp. Upon my return, Chase and Larry left for scout camp. Larry returned 2 days later. Today Chase returned. I had our little neighbor boy take a picture of this moment of togetherness-while it lasts. It's fun having the kids grow up and get to experience different things, but it's also hard having everyone taking off in different directions all of the time. I know this is just the beginning. I feel like this is the first summer of this new phase of our lives.

Say What?
I just got home from Girls Camp where I had a wonderful time being a leader to a group of girls- some of which also happened to be the ages of 2 of my boys-12 & 14. One afternoon a group of giggling 12 year olds came running up to me and said they were playing the game 'MASH' and it said they were going to marry my 12 yr. old son Chase when they grew up. I related this story to my boys when I got home (protecting the identities of the girls), and Corbin my 8 yr. old and very self confident child said, "Which ones said they were going to marry me?"
Carter, the 14 yr. old, said to Chase, "How do any of them even know who you are?"

The possee out looking for Carter
Carter's younger siblings walked the crowded college campus looking everywhere for Carter to deliver something he forgot. Bingo! They spot him.

When Grandpa comes to Town
Grandpa said he would get a hotel the last night of his stay in Boise so he could let all of the grandkids use the ammenities. Or, do you think he just finally wanted a good nights sleep? Grandpa, ever apprehensive about getting to close to the water, encourages the grandkids from a 'safe' distance.
