Ronald Reagan and the Polka Dot Princess

This is the Polka Dot Princess. She broke out in the Chicken Pox a little over a week ago. This is one of her happier moments. It hasn't been fun for her. We've had to call Calamine Lotion "pink barbie lotion" in order to get it on her. She screams in the Aveeno baths yelling at me to get the 'goobers' out of the water. Believe me, not an easy task.

This is Corbin as Ronald Reagan. He has spent the last few months researching someone important from history, drawing pictures, making timelines, a memento box, and for the finale dressing up as the person and giving an oral presentation.

This was the 'meet and greet' where the guests asked questions trying to figure out who the kids are dressed up as. Notice Einstein and Picasso over Corbin's shoulder. I actually wasn't sure if it was Einstein or Mama from the Carol Burnett Show and Mama's House.

Corbin does his best Ronald Reagan impersonation while showing off the portrait he drew.

The last photo of Corbin looks a lot like Chase. What an awesome idea to do Ronald Reagan. It seems like a big project for 4th grade.

I was going to say that Corbin's Ronald impersonation is more like a Chase impersonation before I ever read Lisa's comment. We must have seen Chase pull that face before or something. I hope Corbin memorized some of Reagan's one-liners. He was famous for some very clever ones. Good job, Corbin.

I think its very clever to spin something as miserable as the pox into a polka dot Barbie lotion op. Best wishes to Chloe for a quick and full recovery.
