It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Larry spent the day on the roof and in the yard hanging our Christmas lights!

He has spliced together 1/2 working lights to create fully functioning strands. Clark Griswold has nothing on Larry.

Caleb was Larry's assistant for most of the day, but finally got too cold and had to come in and warm up with some hot chocolate. As hard as it was to have my "helper" out working with his dad throughout the day, the gorgeous light job makes me realize it was worth the sacrifice.

Carter marched in the Meridian Christmas Parade this afternoon with his middle school band. No, he's not dressed up as Barbara Bush--they were required to wear Santa's hats (this picture just captured the white fluffy part).
